Meet Dr. Thompson

Dr. Maya Thompson (she/they), a New Jersey native, graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She then embarked on her first career as an engineer and worked in the field for six years. With a desire to work in a profession that had a direct impact on people, she left engineering and went on to study dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania. It was then that Dr. Thompson also embraced her desire to improve the quality of life within communities and completed her Master of Public Health in addition to her Doctor of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Thompson completed her pediatric dentistry residency at Case Western Reserve University and Rainbow Babies Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH.

Dr. Thompson is passionate about creating positive experiences for children of all ages and is looking forward to building and maintaining healthy smiles. In their free time they enjoy spending time with their family, traveling, and cheering on Philadelphia and Villanova sports teams.
